Lazard Financial Advisory Business Technology (FABT) is responsible for all applications that enable the Financial Advisory Division. This includes support of all aspects of the annual business lifecycle, client lifecycle, and deal management processes including CRM, Knowledge Management, Revenue Reporting, and Resource Planning.
We are looking for a Business Analyst that can act as a liaison between the business and FABT ensuring alignment, fostering strong relationships by gathering, validating, and documenting business information, and delivering valuable solutions that meet the needs of the business.
We’ll trust you to:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with business partners, acting as a technology advocate and primary contact within the organization.
- Conduct detailed requirements gathering sessions with both business stakeholders and end-users, documenting needs for data capture, functionality, data quality, reporting, analytics, and training.
- Collect, document, and analyze user feedback and system deficiencies to recommend effective solutions.
- Convert business requirements into detailed technical specifications and design system architectures.
- Propose, recommend, and document robust solutions, mapping existing system processes and developing use Cases and user Stories.
You’ll need to have:
- 4+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Software Trainer, Project Coordinator, or in a similar role within the technology or financial services industry.
- Proficient in software tools such as Word, Excel, Jira, Confluence, and PowerPoint.
- Experience coordinating work across multiple disciplines or organizations and building consensus across organizational and functional lines.
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle and supporting Applications/Systems in financial services and/or banking is a plus.
- Ability to prioritize workload, meet tight deadlines and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, business, technology, or a related field.

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $90,000-140,00k USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
