Overview of Role
Redburn is looking for an analyst-level hire to join our growing sales & trading desk in New York. The ideal candidate will have prior experience on a sales & trading desk, or another sales/business development role. The eventual hire will be joining at an exciting time for the firm as we embark on an ambitious growth plan in the US equity market.
Responsibilities
- Working with senior salespeople and traders in building relationships with our North American institutional client base, which includes mutual funds, hedge funds and family offices.
- Develop a thorough understanding of stocks covered by Redburn, and learn how to translate our research into actionable investment ideas for clients.
- Manage a variety of ad hoc projects for the Head of North American Sales Desk including presentations, data management and client administration.
- Collaborate with other teams such as research, trading and corporate access to enhance our offering.
Education and Qualifications
- BS or BA mandatory; finance/economics concentration preferred
- 1-2 years of work experience, either directly in sales & trading or an adjacent sales/business development role.
- Working knowledge and high level of interest in equity markets
- Ability to travel
- Must be willing to work full-time in our Manhattan office.

Expected base salary rates for this role in our New York Office will be between $85,000 and $95,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, salary offers are determined on an individualized basis and are based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience and education. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and our Rothschild & Co employee benefits package, successful candidates may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
