Position Description
The Salesforce Product Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Salesforce platform to support deal sourcing, investor relations, fundraising, portfolio management, and operational reporting. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, investment teams, and technical developers, ensuring Salesforce delivers measurable value to our firm.
Responsibilities
Salesforce Strategy & Product Management
- Own the Salesforce roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and PE industry best practices.
- Define and prioritize Salesforce enhancements, customizations, and integrations to improve investment processes and operational efficiency.
- Work with key stakeholders (deal teams, investor services, finance, and fundraising operations) to gather and refine requirements.
- Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of Salesforce updates, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Stakeholder Engagement & Business Process Optimization
- Collaborate with investment professionals, the Investor Services team, and fundraising to optimize Salesforce usage for deal flow management, investor communications, fundraising, and portfolio analytics.
- Lead training and adoption initiatives to ensure teams effectively leverage Salesforce capabilities.
- Partner with third-party vendors, consultants, and Salesforce developers to implement best-in-class solutions.
Data Management, Reporting & Integrations
- Ensure data integrity, governance, and security best practices within Salesforce.
- Develop and enhance Salesforce dashboards, reports, and analytics to provide actionable insights for deal teams and investors.
- Oversee integrations with other business-critical systems (e.g., financial reporting tools, data providers, CRM add-ons).
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Salesforce product management, administration, or consulting experience (preferably in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, or asset management).
- Strong understanding of private equity workflows, deal sourcing, investor relations, and fundraising processes.
- Knowledge of data integrations, APIs, and automation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and deliver Salesforce solutions that drive efficiency and decision-making.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Certified Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or Product Manager/Business Analyst) are a plus.

General Atlantic offers a robust reward program to all employees that will support you and your family, maintaining fulfilling, secure and healthy lives now and into the future, which includes but is not limited to medical insurance, retirement savings contributions, mental and physical health resources and an equal pay program that allows you to earn a base salary of $175,000 - $215,000 USD of which the exact amount offered will be driven by the degree to which you meet role requirements, additional special skills and experience. Additional reward programs, such as annual discretionary bonuses and long-term incentive programs, are available for eligible employees and are offered as recognition for performance and one’s contributions towards the organization’s success.
