We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Portfolio Analytics Analyst to join our investment team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate data for performance and analytics, managing commentary and reporting workflows, and supporting capital markets activities. The ideal candidate will collaborate with risk, operations, and portfolio management teams to maintain data integrity and enhance investment processes.
Responsibilities
Portfolio Analytics:
- Serve as the primary investment team owner of analytics and data integrity
- Assemble and verify daily portfolio management reports, ensuring accurate reflection of positions, trades, and cash metrics
- Collect market research data, develop KPIs, and support marketing material production
Performance & Commentary Coordination:
- Manage and oversee commentary and reporting workflows across multi-asset credit, loans, CLOs, and high yield investments
- Ensure accurate and timely commentary for SMAs, quarterly CLO letters, and other investor reports
- Maintain weekly and monthly attribution and strategy reports, ensuring deadlines are met
Capital Markets Support:
- Manage investable cash reports and forecasting for trade settlements
- Assist in trade execution, allocation support, and maintaining internal records
- Support cash management and hedging transactions
- Develop technology-driven solutions for recordkeeping and reporting
- Provide backup trading execution support as needed
CLO-Specific Responsibilities:
- Manage warehouse counterparty approvals and borrowing requests
- Oversee hypothetical trade analysis and internal compliance requirements
- Serve as the primary contact for trustees and related counterparties, handling administrative and governance document inquiries
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in investment management, analytics, or capital markets
- Strong proficiency in financial data systems (e.g., Factset) and Excel
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and meet strict deadlines
The average salary for this role $130,000 - $180,000 in base pay and is exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, location, skills, training, certifications and education, and in addition we will also consider internal equity and market data
