The impact you will have in this role:
The Mortgage-Backed Securities Division (MBSD) is the sole provider of automated post-trade comparison, netting, electronic pool notification, pool comparison, pool netting and pool settlement services to the mortgage-backed securities market thus providing greater efficiency, transparency and risk mitigation to this specialized market. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Manager for our mortgage product. This role requires someone who has previous hands-on experience in managing mortgage instruments, either in operations or product management.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new or enhance the existing products and services; be the driving force behind the success of every project
- Build close relationships with internal partners and gain an in-depth understanding of all the internal touch points, impacts, and processes
- Oversee the creation and the distribution of internal and regulatory reports
- Maintain a constant feedback loop with MBSD Members to understand their needs and struggles. Come up with solutions to address clients’ needs
- Stay abreast of market developments and understand their impact on the business
- Mitigate risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors, and demonstrating strong ethical behavior
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
