The Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association (LACERA) is recruiting highly motivated and career-minded individuals to fill the position of Finance Analyst I, LACERA Fellowship.
THE POSITION
The Finance Analyst I, LACERA Fellow role involves participating in a structured on-the-job training program lasting between 12 to 24 months. This program is designed to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge in institutional investing, preparing them for entry-level investment positions. The Fellowship program, expected to commence in July 2025, is intended to last no more than two years and does not guarantee employment with LACERA beyond this period.
Positions allocable to this class typically report to an assigned supervisor and/or mentor and receive on-the-job training inclusive of both theoretical understanding and practical application. Incumbents are expected to develop and demonstrate progressively increasing skills and independence of action as they gain experience and proficiency in the field of Investments.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Finance, Economics, Business Management or a closely related field.

Two (2) years’ analytical experience in a financial environment such as banking, private investment fund management, public pension fund management, or real estate management at the corporate level.
