What is the position? Evercore seeks to hire an experienced Analyst for its Sponsor M&A team in New York, NY.
Primary Responsibilities: Evercore Analysts are highly motivated individuals with a broad range of experience in strategic advisory and mergers and acquisitions. Analysts must demonstrate the ability to work on several projects concurrently and possess the desire to learn and work hard.
- Assist in supporting all phases of the M&A process; develop and demonstrate deep understanding of the M&A process and mastery of related technical skills
- Specific responsibilities may include:
- Assist with preparation of materials for pitches and other meetings
- Lead / Support key deal preparation workstreams (e.g., marketing materials, operating model, customer cube, etc.) and preparation of key data room documents
- Facilitate / Support buyer diligence (e.g., manage Q&A tracker, prepare files in conjunction with client to support diligence responses, interface with buyers to facilitate follow-up meetings and calls, etc.)
- Assist in maintaining sell-side M&A knowledge center
Specific Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree required
- 1-2 years of investment banking experience with strong exposure to M&A execution
- Superior analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail and demonstrated excellence in academic coursework
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to articulate ideas
- Strong communications skills, both written and oral
- Strong work ethic
- Enthusiastic, outgoing and achievement-oriented character

Expected Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000
