The Role
We are seeking a Print Manager to work within our in-house print team. You'll act as a liaison between our customers and operations - fielding production questions and solving minor production disputes. You'll have frequent contact with customers to obtain, provide or clarify information concerning quality, scheduling or delivery. You'll also handle communicating with designers, art directors, and marketing managers about print projects while meeting department goals. There may be some cases where you will also run production scheduling and control. Your phenomenal interpersonal skills can make effective decisions, and you positively influence people. You should have a predisposition for all print production processes, specialty finishing techniques, and print substrates.

- Lead by example in advocating the importance of platinum customer service to our internal clients, and guide the team accordingly
- Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously and in an organized manner with an ability to prioritize and shift prioritize as needed. Be proactive, preparing for large events to ensure internal vendor resources are scheduled properly.
- Coordinate project schedules with prepress, print team, and shipping team
- Foster an environment of teamwork and collaboration
- Provide working specifications for jobs outsourced to commercial and/or in-house printers
- Examine specifications, including layouts and calculates production costs
- Strengthen existing partnerships and build new ones with partners to and from other departments to contribute to the business
- Multi-task, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with attention to detail and quality
- Understand digital, offset, and wide format equipment capabilities
- Display confidence, emotional intelligence and decisiveness
- Negotiate, organize, schedule, and budget for many of projects
- Evaluate, troubleshoot and make decisions to tackle customer inquiries
- Become a subject matter expert in all things event related, including ticket submission process, room reservation process, and event implementation. Ability to communicate new system needs and enhancements.
You’ll Need To Have
- 7+ years of relevant print project management experience, most preferably in producing and managing digital, offset, and wide format print projects
- Project management skills, including scheduling, milestone tracking verification, project status reporting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to articulate to key contacts and an ability to influence multiple partners
- Relationship Management Skills to liaise with our teams
- Strong executive presence, confidence, poise, perseverance, and ability to develop relationships with a variety of partners
- Print project management (Avanti) software experience
- Knowledge of FSC procedures and audits
