Lazard’s Corporate Technology group manages the Enterprise Technology stack and services that power our Financial Advisory/Bankers and corporate functions. Our team collaborates with internal users, external customers, and critical third party vendors to design and develop custom solutions. We are a collegial group of technologists, product managers, and cloud and data service experts deeply committed to the success of our business.
We are looking seeking a seasoned Technology Vendor Management Lead to join our team. You will be responsible for the entirety of our vendor life cycle; from selection, to contract, to measuring services provided and effectiveness for Lazard. You will ensure these critical 3rd party relationships are well managed and positioned for success – all while ensuring we have what we need to continuously improve our technology organization.
We’ll trust you to:
- Develop and implement a vendor management strategy aligned with organizational goals and technology needs by establishing relationships with key partners.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, define and track vendor KPIs and benchmarks to evaluate performance.
- Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to identify and mitigate risks in vendor relationships, including regulatory, security, and operational compliance.
- Partner with internal teams (IT, finance, legal, operations) to align vendor services and act as the primary escalation point for vendor-related issues.
- Analyze industry trends and emerging technologies to guide strategic decisions while managing vendor budgets, forecasting, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Leverage performance data to continuously evaluate vendor relationships.
You’ll need to have:
- 8 or more years of experience managing key vendor and 3rd party relationships within a global technology organization or the financial services sector in support of product development and/or IT services is a big plus.
- Direct experience implementing a Vendor Management program.
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, complex vendor relationships and contracts – and a data-driven approach to performance/accountability.
- High EQ to successfully build relationships and successfully navigate change.
- Ability to influence with and without authority to establish shared accountability to drive results across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Savvy approach to contract execution and negotiation, with emphasis on minimizing risk and cost without compromising quality.
- Exceptional cross-functional leadership abilities, with emphasis on zooming in and out to break down silos and maximize collective impact and efficiency.
- In-depth knowledge of how IT organizations work and hands on experience delivering integrated solutions from soup to nuts.
- Certification in vendor management (e.g., Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity (CPSD), Certified Technology Procurement Executive (CTPE)) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities using ITIL framework.

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $150,000 – $225,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
