Role & Responsibilities
• Develop and execute communications programs to reach and engage external stakeholders and employees
• Support planning and execution of earned media relations and executive visibility opportunities
• Create written, visual, and audio content for Balyasny’s employee intranet and firmwide newsletter
• Manage intranet and newsletter operations, related technology platforms, and content calendar
• Assist with development of talking points and announcements/statements
• Conduct desktop research
• Create presentations, memo, and reports
• Manage tracking of team’s work product, develop quarterly progress reports
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with a strong academic record
• 2-4 years of communications experience at an agency or in-house, preferably for a financial services firm; mix of external and internal communications experience a plus
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple concurrent projects/deadlines and efficiently managing tasks and time
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and a learning mindset
• Strong research, comprehension, verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized; strong attention to detail and a dedication to accuracy, quality, and integrity
• Proficiency in MS Office 365 required, experience working with design software (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite) a plus
