Job Title: Senior Associate
Location: New York
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and approve month-end accounting records from the administrator, including portfolio reviews, allocations, expense accruals, and fees.
- Review and approve monthly estimates and portfolio valuations, coordinating with the administrator.
- Participate in deal closings and aggregations in Investran.
- Review financial statements and ensure timely completion of 10Qs and 10Ks.
- Monitor capital activity in line with established thresholds.
- Provide regular reporting on revenues, AUM, FAUM, and performance metrics.
- Prepare fund expense budgets and coordinate payments.
- Act as the liaison with external service providers, including administrators, auditors, tax consultants, and board members.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Trade Operations, Investor Relations, Compliance, Legal, Tax, and Portfolio Management.
- Review legal documents for fund launches or amendments.
- Oversee asset and credit facility borrowing bases, financing coordination, and cash management activities.
- Handle ad hoc requests and special projects as needed.
Requirements:
- 1–3+ years of public accounting or private experience, preferably in private equity (Big 4 or mid-size firm preferred).
- Degree in Accounting; CPA a +
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Investran required; Workiva is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented mindset.
- High ethical standards with discretion in handling confidential information.
