Position Summary:
The Senior Derivatives Trader is responsible for Foreign Exchange and Derivatives execution for client trades, both for OTC and exchange traded. The Derivatives Trader plays a lead role in participating and delivering projects and initiatives associated with FX and Derivatives. He/She will backup cross functional functions within the Treasury Group as needed for projects, risk management, cash management, andexecution
The Senior Derivatives Trader reports directly to the Head of Treasury and Markets.
Position Duties / Responsibilities
Derivatives Trader
• Executes FX spot and derivative transactions for clients, including OTC (NDFs, interest rate swaps, cross currency swaps) and Exchange Traded (Listed options) within established risk limits/parameters.
• Executes Securities for Clients, associated with ETD
• The Derivatives Trader plays a lead role in participating and delivering projects and initiatives associated with FX and Derivatives
• Backup cross functional functions within the Treasury Group as needed for projects, risk management, cash management, andexecution.
• Builds and maintains internal and external relationships providing efficient execution of trades including client activity. Promotes automation, reducing operational errors.
• Contributes market views and provides market research of major currencies and interest rates, including economic fundamentals.
• Insures that activity is governed by proper updated policies and procedures.
• Provide subject matter expertise to the organization in Treasury matters, such as Derivatives and Trade Execution.

Specialized Knowledge
• Command of banking products (swaps, foreign exchange, interest rate derivatives), cash flows, financial reporting and analysis, management reporting, variance analysis and knowledge of fixed income and capital markets.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Performs a variety of tasks. Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines
• Good Understanding of the Banking Regulatory Environment.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
Business Experience:
7-10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated required level of proficiency
Supervisory / Management Scope:
Manage process or technology
Technical Knowledge:
Understanding of financial products, including derivatives.
Knowledge of Bank Regulation
Strong analytical Skills
Languages:
English, Spanish would be preferable
Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

$180,000.00 USD
