What’s the role?
Bloomberg Sell-Side is looking for a Product Manager to drive the design and innovation of our next generation of pricing products. Pricing is part of the full range of relevant tools for traders such as market connectivity, price engine, quoting engine, model engine, RFQ ticket, auto-quoting, STP, hedging tools, smart order router, virtual market trading, trade capture, and risk management. Clients require the ability to price securities across a wide range of asset classes and pricing models. We are looking for a Product Manager to drive the Pricing strategy building on Bloomberg’s market leading analytics expertise. This role is to design the pricing suite for future growth while also supporting our existing client base. You will work with Bloomberg analytics teams, engineering teams, and clients to deliver a high-performance pricing solution so our clients can serve their own customer base and interact with venues. Product managers will need to apply working knowledge of every aspect of pricing and electronic trading to define product vision and detailed specifications.
We'll Trust You To
- Define and drive the strategic vision for pricing products within the Sell-Side electronic trading platform.
- Translate complex market and client requirements into a clear product roadmap and detailed functional specifications
- Partner with quantitative analytics, engineering, UI/UX, and client-facing teams to build performant, scalable, and modular pricing solutions
- Lead the evolution of pricing models, ensuring flexibility across different asset classes and integration with trading workflows and market data
- Serve as a subject matter expert on pricing methodologies, quoting behavior, and execution strategies
- Engage directly with senior stakeholders across banks, asset managers, and trading venues to understand their workflows and ensure our pricing tools meet their evolving needs
- Maintain an active pulse on industry trends, competitor products, and regulatory developments to guide product innovation and maintain competitive advantage
You’ll Need To Have
- 5+ years of experience in product management within electronic trading, pricing systems, or capital markets technology
- 5+ years of Fixed Income Pricing experience
- Proven expertise in Sell-Side trading workflows, including pricing, quoting, risk management, and trade lifecycle
- Asset class knowledge spanning Rates, Credit, Muni, FX, Derivatives
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills
We’d Love To See
- Experience delivering complex, latency-sensitive systems in collaboration with global, multi-disciplinary teams
- Deep understanding of real-time pricing engines, quant models, and market microstructure
- Strong technical acumen; able to collaborate effectively with engineers and quants, and translate between business and technical domains
- Familiarity with Excel & BDP (Bloomberg Data Point)
