Job Title: Associate Director, Alternative Energy Analyst

Estimated Salary: $170,000 - $200,000
Job Summary:
The Alternative Energy Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting Global Infrastructure and Natural Resource Equity teams by conducting in-depth research and analysis within the energy space and across all alternative energy segments. This position requires a strong understanding of the energy sector and the ability to provide actionable insights to portfolio managers and investment teams. Major Responsibilities/Activities:
- Conduct research and analysis on energy and alternative energy markets; perform bottom-up analysis and stock selection
- Apply strategic thinking and asset allocation within the energy sector
- Monitor global energy market developments, industry trends, regulatory changes, and company performance
- Prepare reports and presentations for portfolio managers and investment teams
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts
- Collaborate with team members to support investment decisions
- Participate in meetings with industry experts and company management
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5+ years of research experience (buyside/sell side) with a focus on energy and alternative energy
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A solid understanding of security analysis and accounting concepts required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Expertise with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel; proficiency with Bloomberg and FactSet
