The Senior Investment Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining reports to evaluate the risk and returns for the Total Real Estate portfolio. The position develops performance and diversification reports, provides analysis to inform Real Estate portfolio managers and reviews external manager and consultant reports.
Duties include:
- Creating, maintaining and enhancing total portfolio reporting for the Real Estate asset class
- Managing Real Estate cash activity, compliance and risk reporting
- Developing proficiency with investment analytics applications
- Performing other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Two years of related experience. A postsecondary degree may be used as an alternative for years of direct experience; 2 years for an associate's degree, 4 years for a bachelor's degree, 6 years for a master's degree, 7 years for a professional degree, or 9 years for a doctoral degree.
Preferences:
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in finance, real estate, economics, mathematics, accounting, business, or a related field
- Experience with data visualization applications, particularly Power BI
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Knowledge of fiduciary and prudence guidelines and standards governing the administration of public pension funds
- Experience with various investment strategies and property types
- Strong research and data validation skills
