We have a dedicated team of advisors that are strategically and geographically aligned with our Wealth Management offices to provide national coverage to our partners and clients.
We are seeking a Sales Manager to join our growing team and provide leadership to a team of financial advisors. This position will report directly to the National Practice Executive.
What You Will Do
Drive revenue, increase profits before taxes, and ensure high-quality client service, all while adhering to compliance regulations.
Sales/Marketing Leadership
Lead a team of financial advisors, develop individual sales goals, coach and provide ongoing performance feedback. Maintain a thorough understanding of the Firm’s products and strategic partners and able to use this knowledge to provide resources and direction to drive corporate initiatives and sales.
Team Building
Maintain a positive and collaborative team culture, motivate team members, and identify training needs to enhance their sales capabilities. Build effective teams by constantly communicating relevant information on a timely basis and conducting regular sales meetings. Ensure team understands and adheres to our corporate behaviors.
Performance Monitoring
Track key sales metrics, analyze performance trends, and identify areas for improvement to optimize sales strategies.
Partnership
Develop relationships and work collaboratively with Wealth Management Partners, NTSI Trading, Operations and Compliance.
Compliance Oversight
Ensure the team adheres to all relevant financial regulations and industry standards, including proper documentation and disclosure practices.
What We Require
Financial Industry Experience:
At least 5 years of sales and management experience with a proven track record in financial services, preferably with experience in wealth management.
Series Licenses
Active Series 7.8 (or 9 and 10) 66 (or 63 and 65) and 24.
Leadership Abilities
Strong leadership and management skills to inspire and motivate a sales team, provide guidance, and resolve conflicts.
Communication And Organization Skills
Must demonstrate effective written and verbal communication; strong attention to detail with ability to organize and prioritize work, complete projects, and meet deadlines.
Compliance Knowledge
Thorough understanding of relevant financial regulations and compliance procedures.
Salary Range
$137,400 - 240,400 USD
Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
