Job Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Finance Team with accounting and financial reporting tasks for the management company and its subsidiaries.
- Maintain full responsibility for recording cash transactions, accounts payable, and accounts receivable across a multi-entity structure using Sage Intacct.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry to support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings. Manage budgets on both a cash and accrual basis.
- Track, invoice, and collect all intercompany charges between the management company and affiliated funds. Utilize Sage Intacct to streamline and automate intercompany processes.
- Oversee the complex accounts payable review and approval workflow, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor and report on investments in securities and real estate assets. Prepare and distribute comprehensive monthly investment reports.
- Assist with special projects and drive process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency within the finance function.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance teams to drive departmental objectives and support strategic financial initiatives.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; minimum of 3+ years of relevant full-time professional experience. CPA designation is preferred but not mandatory.
- Prior experience in private fund accounting is strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Sage Intacct is required.
- Technologically adept with a strong understanding of software applications and basic coding concepts.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in the full Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Positive attitude and collaborative mindset; proven ability to work well within a team environment.
The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $105,000 - $120,000 plus an annual discretionary performance-based bonus. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience and performance.
