This position is eligible for annual and long-term incentive awards. The annual incentive opportunity is 0-75% of salary and is based on the level of achievement against several quantitative and qualitative measures. The long-term incentive program provides an additional opportunity of 0-75% of base salary beginning after five years and when absolute total fund returns meet or exceed board-approved thresholds.

Our Global Public Equity (GPE) group is currently seeking an Investment Manager (IM) to act as the leader of the Global Equity Execution effort for the GPE Portfolio Implementation team and drive our CalPERS mission.
Duties Include But Are Not Limited To:
- Manage and lead the Equity Execution efforts for the GPE internal equity management function, including all aspects of implementation and risk control, across equities and their related instruments globally.
- Act as lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the all execution-related workflows and processes used in the GPE internal implementation function to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Lead a team of traders by developing them in the specifics of various equity trading methods and the associated investment risks, with a view toward creating a deeply knowledgeable global trading desk and forming a viable succession plan.
- Responsible for supporting GPE and INVO initiatives and modeling CalPERS leadership competencies, exemplifying a collaborative and communicative culture.
