Position Overview
Reporting directly to the Associate Director of Investor Communications & Marketing, the Analyst will work as part of the Investor Communications and Marketing Group (ICM), the team responsible for written collateral communication (e.g., presentations, RFPs, factsheets, newsletters, and thought leadership pieces), both internally as well as between the Firm and the financial community, including clients, prospects, consultants, and media. ICM is an integral part of the Relationship Management department, which is responsible for developing business relationships with prospective institutional investors and investment consultants and supporting the servicing of institutional clients. The Analyst will work closely with different members of the broader team, as well as with other departments as needed.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Developing an understanding of the Firm’s investment process and products
- Supporting relationship managers with the creation of marketing materials
- Updating and managing marketing and Firm systems and platforms
- Reorganizing and maintaining prospect folders
- Developing, formatting, and proofing marketing collateral, ensuring appropriate alignment with compliance and other internal procedures
- Upkeeping consultant databases as required
- Contributing to RFP and client DDQ assignments
- Assisting in the content approval process with Legal and Compliance
- Supporting webinars and external events
- Completing additional investor communications tasks including but not limited to taking meeting minutes, printing and binding of presentation books, managing print supply inventory, coordinating internal meetings, and maintaining distribution lists
- Contributing to ICM’s broader ongoing strategic projects
Skills and Knowledge Required
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, marketing, or related field
- A minimum of 2-3 years of professional work experience
- Strong academic credentials and skilled in Microsoft Office
- Mature team player who can thrive in a challenging, yet collaborative work environment
- Highly organized, detail oriented, and committed to quality work product
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to manage time effectively with competing priorities and deadlines
- Proactive problem solver with ability to work independently
- Strong sense of initiative, strategic thinking, and a desire to learn
- Ability to create trust and respect with peers
- Highest ethical standards
This is a hybrid position based in Los Angeles, CA which requires weekly attendance.
