The Impact you will have in this role:
Being a member of the Clearing & Securities Services (CSS) team, The Executive Director, Chief of Staff to the President of CSS, will play a pivotal role in supporting the CSS strategy development, overseeing business priorities, and leading day-to-day operations. This senior role involves taking end-to-end ownership of strategic projects for the leadership team, ensuring alignment on strategic messaging for external/client communications, and owning the preparation for internal executive briefings and external engagements.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Influence business strategy by working closely with the President of CSS, the Executive Committee, and senior business leadership.
- Partner with senior management, including the Executive Committee and the Board, to drive impactful results and navigate transformative opportunities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the President and serve as their proxy when needed to support their vision.
- Provide business subject matter expertise on CSS business areas and offer proactive outreach and strategic advice/insights on business programs.
- Lead the preparation of board materials in partnership with Senior Management and proactively source content as the first line of validation for the CSS business areas.
- Ensure alignment on critical messaging for external/client meetings and conferences in support of senior management and the Board.
- Ensure effective and aligned communication of CSS goals, priorities and material decisions to senior business leadership and internal teams as applicable
- Assist in decision-making by partnering with cross-functional business area leads on ongoing business priorities, including but not limited to strategy development, enterprise goal setting, and annual budget and operational planning.
- Lead content development for CSS leadership meetings with various levels of management and ensure closure of all follow-ups/actions.
- Partner with cross-functional support teams (e.g., Marketing, IT) to coordinate enterprise events and communications in support of Town Halls, press interviews/releases, etc.
- Demonstrate effective leadership outside of strict reporting lines by building strong partnerships with collaborators.
- Exhibit excellent organizational skills to bring order to chaos and keep all tasks on track.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 15 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
