Founded in 2008, Hightower is a wealth management firm that provides investment, financial and retirement planning services to individuals, foundations and family offices, as well as 401(k) consulting and cash management services to corporations. What You’ll Do
The M&A Process Analyst helps support the seamless integration of firms during mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. You will focus on analyzing, mapping, and optimizing business processes, ensuring alignment between acquired firms and internal systems. You will will bring a strong analytical mindset, a detail-oriented approach, and a collaborative spirit to help guide operational efficiency and successful transitions.
- Process Mapping & Analysis
- Collaborate with M&A firms to understand and map existing CRM workflows to Hightower's proprietary technology.
- Ensure a seamless transition of newly onboarded firms by identifying gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for optimization during integration.
- Translate complex workflows into standardized, scalable processes aligned with internal systems.
- Integration Support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technology, operations, compliance, and product) to ensure smooth onboarding and integration of acquired firms.
- Partner with the data conversion team to align and process changes with system capabilities.
- Support the customization of proprietary tools to match firm-specific needs while maintaining consistency with enterprise standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a liaison between internal teams and acquired firms to ensure alignment on integration goals.
- Set clear expectations with stakeholders and ensure their needs are met.
- Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to understand firm-specific nuances and translate them into actionable integration plans.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and improve the integration experience.
- Stay current on industry best practices and contribute to the evolution of M&A integration methodologies.
What You’ll Bring - Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in business process analysis, operations, or integration—preferably within financial services, consulting, or M&A environments.
- Technical & Analytical Skills
- Experience with CRM systems and business process workflows.
- Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Experience with system integration, data migration, or technology onboarding.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in M&A integration or change management.
- Exposure to wealth management or financial advisory business models.

- $75-$90/hour depending on experience
