Position Summary:
The Hybrid Sales Analyst is responsible for driving sales growth and client engagement across an assigned territory by executing a disciplined sales process and delivering exceptional client service. This individual will focus on scaling Carlyle's Global Wealth business and investment offerings inside the independent broker dealer channel. Our key area of focus with clients is our evergreen/semi-liquid investment lineup, alongside traditional drawdown vehicles.
In partnership with the internal wholesaler, The Hybrid Sales Analyst will be required to uncover opportunities and forge relationships with financial advisors. The role requires a targeted travel schedule (spending one to two weeks per month in the field) to meet with top producers and prospects, while also maintaining a high volume of quality phone and virtual interactions from the home office. The Hybrid is proficient in presenting Carlyle's investment solutions, including CTAC, CAPM, and legacy funds, effectively communicating capital market insights and supporting cross-selling initiatives.
This position demands leadership within the team, including mentoring junior members, sharing best practices, and contributing innovative ideas to enhance sales effectiveness. The Hybrid Sales Analyst is accountable for achieving territory sales targets and KPIs, maintaining and growing advisor relationships, and serving as Carlyle's key point of contact in territory within the Global Wealth channel. Success in this role requires a high degree of initiative, collaboration, engagement, and the ability to prioritize initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Drive revenue in CAPM, CTAC and Carlyle's key investment vehicles in market to hit sales targets in a dedicated territory
- Communicate directly with financial advisors and key investment decision makers via in-person meetings, phone calls and virtual interactions to explain and illustrate how Carlyle can provide value and be a partner to their business in private market investing
- Travel in territory multiple weeks per month to forge relationships with clients, branch managers, investment specialists and COI's. Travel days should have 4 to 5 in person meetings
- Actively support client, industry and Carlyle events to spread awareness around Carlyle's capabilities in the Global Wealth channel
- Maintain consistent levels of phone and virtual activity while in the home office. These activities should focus on progressing the sales cycle, prospecting, prepping for travel, follow up and due diligence
- Actively work alongside, provide guidance and support to an internal wholesaler. Lead by example and set the strategy for your territory that the internal wholesaler can follow
Requirements
Education & Certificates
- Bachelor's degree required
- Series 7 and 63/66 are required
Professional Experience
- 3-5 years of prior sales experience required - preferably from a sales desk
- Knowledge of financial advisors, their businesses and how we can partner with them
- Knowledge of financial products, alternative investments and asset allocation
- Ability to work in a challenging, fast paced, and collaborative environment
- Possess strong self-motivation, engagement, competitiveness and a desire to excel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated customer service mindset
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong relationship building skills, both internal and external
Benefits/Compensation
The compensation range for this role is specific to New York City and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications.
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $125,000.

Additionally, the hired professional may also be eligible to participate in an annual discretionary incentive program, the award of which will be dependent on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
