This position will operate in a hybrid work environment, 3 days per week in the office (Philadelphia, PA).
OVERVIEW:
As a member of Glenmede’s Finance team, this individual will perform various reporting and analytical functions.
Responsibilities for this role will include a focus on reporting and analysis responsibilities that span multi-disciplinary functions related to the firm’s financial and business development results, clients, lines of business and products. This role requires a strong analytical foundation, advanced technology skills, and the ability to clearly communicate insights to stakeholders across all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive mindset to efficiency, data interpretation, and automation efforts that drive operational excellence and strategic insight.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain routine and ad-hoc reports and dashboards, with a focus on firm-wide performance metrics including assets under management, business development, and line-of-business results.
- Lead complex ad-hoc analysis to assist with arising business needs, including communicating results and recommendations to firm leadership.
- Analyze client data to identify trends and insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Advance the automation, standardization and simplification of modeling, reporting, and analysis through the development of process improvements.
- Participate in projects supporting firm-wide initiatives.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required; accounting/finance related degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business and financial analysis, or a related role.
- Demonstrated expertise in working with large data sets, financial modeling, and reconciliations.
- A strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft products (Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
- Ability to learn and utilize multiple technology platforms and data sources including data aggregation tools. Experience with business intelligence platforms a plus.
- Ability to take initiative in resolving complex challenges through strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to various audiences.
- Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving skills, and the ability to improve processes.
- Familiarity with VBA, SQL, PowerQuery, Power BI, or similar data visualization and query tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience or desire to work in a financial services environment.
- Experience with financial operations in a wealth management or investment advisory environment.
