This position will operate in a hybrid work environment, 3 days per week in the office (Philadelphia, PA).
OVERVIEW:
As a member of the Finance & Accounting department, the Fee Analyst will partner with teams across the organization to support the administration and analysis of client fees. This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities across fee-related operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate and leverage multiple technology platforms to support data and process integrity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain the system configuration of client fee schedules; this includes the initial set-up of new clients and the ongoing maintenance of existing clients
- Perform fee-related analysis to support:
- The ongoing quality control processes, and
- Negotiated fee arrangement, in partnership with front office teams.
- Build expertise across multiple technology platforms and data sources to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Advancethe automation, standardization and simplification of reporting and analysis through the development of process improvements.
- Participate in cross-functional projects focused on maintaining, reconciling, and standardizing client fee arrangements to support data accuracy and operational consistency.
- Communicate effectively with business partners, including individuals across various departments and levels of seniority.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required; accounting/finance related degree preferred
- Up to 3 years of relevant experience; new college graduates must have one professional internship in a related discipline (i.e. accounting & finance, banking operations, or related roles.)
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and quantitative aptitude.
- Ability to work with large data sets and reconcile complex information.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a diversified, deadline-driven environment.
- Professional demeanor, with the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with fee administration or financial operations in a wealth management or investment advisory environment.
- Familiarity with financial systems (e.g., CRM, billing platforms).
- Interest in process improvement, automation tools, or business intelligence/reporting systems.
- Experience or desire to work in a financial services environment.
