About the Team & Business Line:
Mercator by Citco’s global team of business developers together with a marketing support team is responsible for establishing and developing relationships with prospective multinational clients. The team combines deep product and industry knowledge and is relentless in pursuing new leads.
Your Role:
- You will be reporting to an Account Manager based in our global office in Vilnius, Lithuania.
- Maintain and develop multiple business relations with clients, Citco offices, law firms and other third parties
- Responsible for overall supervision of the designated portfolio of clients ensuring that all client queries and requests are processed and completed in a timely manner, efficiently and qualitatively
- Assign, draft, review and file transactional documents and state forms drafted for all stages of company lifecycle, i.e. from company incorporation through to dissolution, for clients in various US states accordance to legal requirements with agreed deadlines
- Help to set up and provide commercial registered agent service in Delaware, maintain necessary accesses, registrations and compliance to regulations applicable to commercial registered agents in the state
- Supervise and cooperate with the colleague to ensure service of process is accepted on behalf of our clients and distributed to dedicated client personnel
- Perform and/ or monitor statutory state and federal filings with authorities for portfolio of clients
- Coordinate with junior colleague to conduct due diligence, order certified documents, conduct lien searches, complete UCC filings
- Assist in coaching and developing team members for their individual advancement and for the benefit of the team
- Continuously review and make recommendations for improvements to the existing processes and procedures
- Follow changes in law in all US states which may impact service delivery and ensure that international and/or industry specific legal requirements are met
- Act as a contact for urgent client matters in the North American time zone, when other global offices are off-line
- Assist with migration and on boarding of clients
About You:
- You have a Degree in Law from an accredited law school
- Qualified to practice law
- 5- 10 years relevant experience in corporate law field, entity management, due diligence and corporate maintenance
- Solid experience acting as registered agent in Delaware or providing registered agent service to corporate clients with good understanding of requirements applicable to such service and relevant processes
- Experience working with large multi-national clients
- Working experience in client servicing and project management (international exposure is an asset)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- A self-starter
- Ability to work independently and understand when to escalate
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, problem solving and communication skills
- Experience in coaching and developing others
- Notary Public commission would be an advantage
