Five Arrows
Five Arrows is the is the investment arm of the Rothschild & Co group focused on alternatives.
It deploys the firm's capital, alongside that of a select set of leading institutional and private investors.
Five Arrows has approx. $30bn1 under management (approx. $3.4bn2 in private credit / direct lending) and manages a series of funds dedicated to corporate and secondary private equity, multi-managers funds and co-investments as well as liquid and private credit.
Our business is founded on three inter-twined principles - our passion for investing, respect for risk, and culture of partnership - all of which define who we are today.
Overview of Role
The Five Arrows team is entrepreneurially oriented, and operates as a pure buy-side institution, while benefiting from access to the broader Rothschild & Co business. Within this dynamic the division benefits from the family name while operating with flexibility.
The Direct Lending strategy resides within Five Arrows, was launched in 2012 and is investing out of our fourth fund (FADP IV), at approx. $2bn of commitments. The team of approximately 18 investment professionals are based in New York City, London and Paris.
FADP IV invests predominantly in unitranche loans, with additional capacity to invest in junior debt (second lien, mezzanine, PIK notes, preferred equity) and common equity, specifically in healthcare, software, tech-enabled business services, financial services, and education businesses. The Direct Lending team can invest in both North America and western European opportunities.
The Direct Lending Group launched a U.S. effort in mid-2022, has made several private credit investments from FADP IV, and is looking to add to the team with an Analyst or Associate hire in New York. The large and diversified U.S. private credit market is a key focus of growth for the Direct Lending Group with the objective of raising a dedicated US fund vehicle. The Analyst/Associate will have exposure to the entrepreneurial dimensions of being a key part of developing and advancing all aspects of the business.
This is a ground floor opportunity to work alongside an experienced team leader with 14 years’ experience at a large private credit manager. A high-achieving Analyst/Associate will have the opportunity for a long-term career track.
