Vendor Operations Senior Associate
The Vendor Operations Senior Associate will sit in the Chief Global Affairs office and focus on global vendor management strategy and operations. In this newly created and highly collaborative role you will help the firm manage and optimize the performance of our largest vendor relationships.
The Vendor Management Operations Senior Associate will:
• Help manage the process for onboarding new, and managing existing vendors ensuring
coordination across legal, technology, finance, and business stakeholders
• Help BAM business users in the RFP and vendor selection process
• Create and maintain scorecards to regularly review performance of our most important
vendors and identify opportunities for improvement
• Coordinate and perform quarterly vendor reviews and present analysis of vendor
performance, risks, and recommendations for improvement to internal stakeholders and
leadership
• Manage vendor contract calendar, identify, and proactively address upcoming events and
renewals
• Keep up to date with evolving business requirements and be a trusted advisor related to
vendor services and issue resolution
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal teams, partners, vendors
• Stay abreast of changes to data, technology, and service offerings within the financial industry
• Own and manage periodic Vendor status and metrics reporting to senior management at
BAM
• Own and manage the vendor management system, ensuring up to date record for all vendors
in scope.
Requirements:
- 4 or more years of experience in a consulting or operations role
- Experience with vendor management or operations
- Experience with global contract negotiations and strategy for financial services and technology firms
- Operational experience in vendor management strategy and optimization including development of SLAs and accountability frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects concurrently
- Demonstrated analytical rigor in quantitative and qualitative analysis and modeling
- Expertise with Advanced Excel and PowerPoint, PowerBI
- Coding ability is a plus
With respect to NY, CA, and IL based applicants, the starting base pay range for this role is between $125000 and $175000 annually. The actual base pay is dependent upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, business needs and market demands. This role may also be eligible for bonus compensation and employee benefits.
