Associate/ Senior Associate, Research Analyst, Equities – NYC

PineBridge Investments is seeking a Research Analyst to join our Fundamental Equities team. The role will be based in New York City with the expectation of a hybrid work model.
Primary Responsibilities:
Company Research:
- Build financial models, perform valuation analysis, comparative company analysis, and industry research.
- Compile relevant supporting information to present investment ideas to the PM and investment team
- Participate in research meetings with portfolio management teams.
- Meet with company management teams, work to form investment opinions of a company.
Portfolio Analytics:
- Assist in monitoring portfolio exposures and risk positioning in relation to strategy limits/targets.
- Assist in running and interpreting portfolio characteristics, performance attribution, and risk metrics.
- Assist in maintaining internal databases including proprietary company classifications and price targets.
Marketing:
- Represent the Fundamental Equity business to internal and external clients to help drive asset growth.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to successfully launch and promote new products.
- Review and edit marketing materials, RFPs/DDQs, and other client deliverables produced by the team.
- Help with preparing presentations for prospective clients.
General:
- Work with other team members to respond effectively to requests from clients and senior management.
- Provide support in administrative matters and prepare reports.
- Assist with Fundamental Equity-wide initiatives and projects if required.
Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of previous related and relevant work experience, which may include portfolio management, investment research, investment counseling, or institutional client service.
- Undergraduate degree in relevant field.
- Advanced skills in utilizing Microsoft Excel; strong working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word.
- Experience with FactSet and Bloomberg preferred.
- Works well in a team environment spanning many time zones and cultures using effective communication skills.
- Innate intellectual curiosity as well as innovative, future-oriented thinking and a passion for investing.
- Strong analytical, communication (oral and written), relationship building and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with a commitment to follow-up.
- Attention to detail – proven experience of delivering high levels of accuracy.
- Candidate must be a team player and self-motivated.
- Willingness to travel.

Salary Range: $95,000-125,000 annually + bonus + benefits
