Carta’s software for the Office of the Fund CFO does just that - it’s a new category of software to make private markets look more like public markets - a connected ERP for private capital. As the Chief of Staff reporting directly to the CMO, you will play an integral role in ensuring the successful execution of Carta's marketing strategy. You will work closely with the CMO to identify and find solutions to marketing obstacles, drive operational efficiency, foster effective communication, and provide strategic support. Your expertise will contribute to the growth and success of Carta's marketing function.Responsibilities include acting as a conduit for the marketing leadership team and other company leaders for the CMO in prioritizing work, owning CMO internal communications, conducting research and preparing reports, serving as a key resource and thought partner to the CMO, acting as a liaison between C-level executives and stakeholders, building relationships with CoS peers, preparing and coordinating materials for executive meetings, developing presentations for CMO speaking engagements, leading special projects, ensuring the organization meets targets, managing headcount and budget execution, optimizing best practices, and acting as a thought partner to the CMO.The role requires 5+ years of experience, ideally as a Chief of Staff and/or in communications roles in Marketing, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to act in the CMO’s stead, exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, experience in budget development and goal setting, exceptional organizational skills, confidentiality, proficiency in project management tools and Google Suite, and a bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or related field (MBA preferred).
