Role Summary:
CUSIP Global Services is currently seeking a CGS Senior Data Collector to join the CGS Global Data Operations team. This position requires a very high level of accuracy and a desire to work with others in reconciling issues. Working under daily deadlines is a key element to success and ensuring quality output. The CGS Senior Data Collector will work closely with the Data Operations, Product, Customer Service and Governance teams, to ensure that all tasks are efficiently executed to ensure accurate assignment of Private Placement and Syndicated Bank Loans Identifiers. This position reports directly to the Global Data Operations Manager.
What you’ll do:
- Assignment and maintenance of new CUSIP identifiers for Private Placement Numbers (PPNs) and Syndicated Bank Loan CUSIPs and corporate actions in a timely manner.
- Maintain the accuracy of the CUSIP database using SCORE online system.
- Monitor the collection and integration of indicative data from source documents submitted by CUSIP requestors.
- Support CUSIP operations, product, and technology teams with enhancing SCORE issuance application.
- Determines and initiates actions required to quickly resolve customers’ inquiries received via email and telephone.
- Develop an understanding of CUSIP Issuance and the various asset classes.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience specializing in Operations and related roles.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Detail-oriented and well-organized
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet request deadlines
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to correspond by phone and email with key and senior level internal/external clients and/or counterparts.
- Must be able to work independently and across a team, be accountable for requests processed and understand when an issue should be escalated to management.
This is a bargaining unit position – NYC office only (hybrid: 2x/week)
The salary amount for this position in NYC is $89,419.21
