Job Title:
Warehouse Lending Operations Analyst
Job Summary: The Warehouse Lending Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting daily operational processes related to warehouse lending, mortgage loan settlements, and triparty financing. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with trading desk and external mortgage clients. The analyst will work closely with repo traders, mortgage clients, and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of loans, trades, and settlements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and sign off on warehouse release letters, Ginnie Mae HUD 11711A’s, and FHLMC 996E forms
- Provide accurate loan payoff calculations to mortgages clients and settle respective loans using JEFMAPs
- Monitor and record all incoming and outgoing daily wire activity and fundings completed to ensure timely funding and settlement of loans
- Investigate wire discrepancies by collaborating with clients to obtain necessary payoff documents
- Manually input triparty repo trades in Impact, tracking key trade details such as rate changes, maturity dates, and interest payments. Journal and pay out related interest payments
- Communicate with Repo Trader and manual input of mbs pools in Impact when needed for collateralization of loans
- Confirm monthly interest clean up on Reverses and post related journals
- Reconcile daily wire and funding activity with mortgage finance team to determine net end of day positions
- Track and process monthly fees and interest payments for all triparty financing agreements
- Sign Ginnie Mae HUD 11711A forms to facilitate MBS pool creation and track settlements for these pools
- Prepare and Input PC/TR Funding wires and payoffs in Singlepoint and/or Two Four System
- Fund loans for mortgage clients and ensure proper tracking of disbursements
- Calculate daily interest on reverse repo trades to determine month end totals for reporting and reconciliation
Desirable Qualifications/Skills:
- Potential Candidates MUST have very strong knowledge of Excel
- Experience in Warehouse Lending, Fed Settlements, or Triparty Funding would be a plus but not required
- Familiarity with any of the following systems:
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management skills
Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $75,000 - $90,000
