Associate, Product Eng Redline is needed to perform the following duties:
Liaison with QA Engineering (Quality Assurance) team based out of Dublin.:
●Analyze product quality assurance needs and the help in design and testing the entirety of the Redline product suite.
●Document and present legacy procedures and internal developer tools during weekly synchronization calls
Dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer for Trading Applications group, handling new products, regression testing and operating systems support.:
●Design testing scenarios using C/Java/Python to simulate conventional and edge-cases.
●Automate tests through the Atlassian Suite to ensure continuous development and integration.
●Modify operating systems with necessary first and third-party tools for product testing infrastructure
Statistically analyze regression framework performance:
●Implement meta-changes (indirect to product) for example - optimizing the Amazon Web Services EC2 instance scheduling to reduce expenditure.
●Develop novel streaming algorithms for the testing infrastructure utilizing Amazon Web Services’ data storage and virtual machine APIs.
Maintain and implement third-party product licensing, through license server and developer utilities.:
●Coordinate with customer-facing team to generate client product licenses.
●Maintain code repository for tooling leveraging third-party (X-Formation) licensing API.
●Annually rebuild and validate licensing server for internal and external accessibility.
Maintain a subset of the product release pipeline. :
●Create and update tools to add release notes, build deploy-ready customer executables and provide clients with files over FTP (file transfer protocol).
●Support the addition of new products to the release pipeline.
One-on-one collaboration with product architects for manual testing.:
●Develop modular testing methodology from customer and developer needs in parallel to product creation.
●Leverage UAT (User Acceptance Testing) connections provided by markets for seamless deployment.
●Suggest and partially implement bugfixes and product improvements.
Utilize Atlassian tools to develop regression testing infrastructure.
●Integrate Bamboo, Jira, Bitbucket and other Atlassian products into our automated testing infrastructure.
●Provide real-time support to developers during CI (continuous integration) using this massively distributed infrastructure.
●Add new product build, setup and testing plans to Bamboo that get automatically triggered on code merge requests.
Fix bugs and assist with product-side changes.
●Report and document intermittent and deterministic product failures as well as make developer suggestions.
●Occasionally develop patches for open issues in a wide breadth of products.
Bachelor's Degree is required in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Software Engineering or Computer Information Systems
