TheServicing Oversightteam plays a critical role in advancing Bayview’s mission byworkingdirectly with3rdpartyservicersto ensure loans are serviced according to ourrequirements.The team interacts dailywith servicerson allfacetsof servicingfrom loan boarding,borrower communications, escrow, early andlate stagedelinquencies,payoffanddefault liquidations. POSITION SUMMARY:
We areseekinga proactive and detail-orientedSenior Associate, Servicing Oversightto join our dynamic Capital Marketsteam.TheSenior Associate will support oversight of third-party loan servicers, ensuring servicing standards are met, risk is mitigated, and performance isoptimized. This individual will also contribute to process improvement initiatives, internal reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to support businessobjectives.
- Monitor Servicer Interactions: Coordinate daily/weekly communication with servicers to address inquiries, follow up on action items, and support issue resolution.
- Support Servicing Performance Analysis: Assist in trackingservicerperformance through reporting dashboards and performance metrics toidentifytrends and escalate concerns.
- Loan Boarding Oversight:Participatein loan boarding processes, including scheduling kick-off calls,maintainingtrackers, and ensuringtimelyandaccuratedatatransferfrom sellers and servicers.
- Seller & Internal Stakeholder Support: Respond to inquiries from loan sellers and collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Transaction Management, Operations, Risk) to align servicing activities.
- Early Delinquency & Loan Status Tracking: Support tracking and monitoring ofearly paymentdefaults, repurchase reviews, and 120-day delinquent loans.
- Audit & Compliance: Contribute to internal audits, loan-level testing, and reviews to ensure adherence to company guidelines and applicable regulations.
- Process Optimization:Identifyand support implementation of process improvements, documentation enhancements, and control measures to increase operational efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or related field.
- 3-5years of experience inmortgage servicing,servicing oversight,ora related function withinafinancialinstitution, servicer, orinvestmentfirm.
- Basicunderstandingofservicingfunctionsincludingloan boarding, escrow, default, and payoff processes.
- Familiarity with industry guidelines (RESPA, CFPB, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA/VA) preferred.
SKILLS:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detailwith strong organizationalcapabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with experience in using reporting tools and servicing platforms (MSP/Black Knight,LSAMS, Servicing Directoror equivalents).
- Self-starter who is comfortable managing multiple priorities and working both independently and collaboratively.
Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registration
- Industry certifications (e.g., CMB, CMCP, CRU) are a plus but notrequired.
LOCATION and COMPENSATION:
This isa hybrid position, withrequirementto be in the office 3 days a week. Compensation will becommensuratewith experience and qualifications and includes a competitive base salary and performance-based incentives.
