OverviewPOSITION SUMMARY:
Bayview Asset Management is seeking a highly motivated Analyst to join its global Infrastructure Debt investments team. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in underwriting, financial analysis / modeling, market research, and portfolio monitoring within a growing platform. The Analyst will work closely with senior professionals on live transactions and portfolio management, developing a strong foundation in investment management, infrastructure debt and project finance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Gain a deep understanding of Bayview’s infrastructure debt strategy, investment framework, and risk management approach.
- Support the underwriting of new transactions, including:
- Performing financial analysis and valuation of collateral assets
- Reviewing and summarizing key covenants, structures, and restrictions.
- Drafting internal and external investment memoranda and presentations.
- Conduct market and industry research on infrastructure projects, policy developments, competitors, and potential investment opportunities.
- Support senior team members in due diligence, financial review, and preparation of presentation materials.
- Assist in building and reviewing financial models under guidance from senior team members.
- Monitor portfolio investments, including preparing performance updates and internal reports, as needed.
- Coordinate with internal teams (trading, legal, accounting, compliance, operations, etc.) and external stakeholders to facilitate transaction execution.
- Participate in client and internal meetings, due diligence sessions, and negotiations alongside senior staff.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to interpret large datasets and work with financial models.
- Demonstrated interest in infrastructure debt, project finance, or investment management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail, organizational strength, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Collaborative team player with initiative and intellectual curiosity.
- Eagerness to learn and develop skills in underwriting, investment analysis, and market research.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics/statistics, business, or a related field.
- Strong internship experience or up to 2 years of relevant professional experience in finance, investment banking, consulting, or related field preferred, but not required.
- Proficiency in Excel; exposure to financial modeling strongly preferred.
- Progress toward CFA designation (or similar credentials) a plus.
COMPENSATION and LOCATION:
- This role can be based in one of the following locations: Bayview’s Morristown, NJ or New York, NY offices.
- Base compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience, with the opportunity for performance-based annual bonus. Salary range is expected to be $80,000 - $100,000.
