POSITION
Allspring Global Investments is seeking a highly experienced product oversight professional for the role of Head of Product Governance and Data Analytics. This team is responsible for the governance around the launch and lifecycle of products to address client opportunities and leading efforts to enhance Allspring’s current domestic and international products for institutional and retail investors.
We currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in-office 4 days a week.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and present quarterly investment reports for the mutual fund board of trustees
- Lead Product’s efforts in contributing to and developing 15(c) materials, collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting deliverables to the Board
- Design, implement, and maintain Product Governance policies, procedures, controls, and processes in line with regulatory requirements and internal firm standards
- Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle including the design, approval, review, and monitoring to ensure ongoing compliance is met
- Manage day-to-day operations of closed end funds such as share repurchase programs and quarterly reporting
- Provide industry and product data to support organizational decision-making and strengthen product positioning
- Maintain a cross-vehicle pricing strategy that ensures alignment between client need, strategic growth opportunities, competitive dynamics, and product profitability
- Manage seed capital portfolio to best align with firm strategic priorities
- Develop and implement the roadmap for integrating AI tools within Product team to drive efficiencies
- Supports the Global Head of Product by assisting with Board material preparation, leading strategic initiatives, providing financial expertise and insights
- Lead product initiatives (e.g. new regulatory requirements, technology, data architecture, etc.) including assessing gaps, designing target state, defining requirements for stakeholders and systems and gaining approval for resources to implement
- Work with ET to help set the strategy and vision for Product Master and its rollout/integration throughout the firm
CANDIDATE
The position requires deep subject matter expertise in product types including but not limited to domestic funds, international funds, Institutional Separate Accounts, Retail Managed Accounts, and ETFs. The successful candidate will collaborate with leaders across Allspring while leading the governance processes to support product development and management, including pricing and seed.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing and leading a high performing team with focus on talent development
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships at all levels of the organization with the proven ability to consult and influence senior leaders
- Demonstrated ability to engage and present to senior leaders of the organization and the Fund Board on important fund related matters
- Strong project leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams
- Experience designing risk governance functions and oversight of business controls to comply with business and regulatory requirements
- Track record of improving processes and team efficiency, with demonstrated experience implementing AI tools a plus
Base Pay Range: $175,000 - $200,000
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary bonus programs, or other annual or non-annual incentive or sales plans.)
