Summary: Provide trust and corporate governance services to a portfolio of primarily corporate fiduciary clients. This requires knowledge and experience in working with various types of structures, including but not limited to; STAR and Charitable Trusts, Unit Trusts, PTCs, SPVs, and Foundation Companies. With equal emphasis on dealing with structure assets in both the traditional finance and digital asset spaces. Serve as either an authorized signatory of the trustee or as a director. Work closely with the Senior VP-Fiduciary Services to identify new business opportunities and engage in product development. Liaise with various internal teams to track business progress, enhance unit efficiency, and report back to senior management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Trust Administration
You will perform standard management, primarily for corporate trust structures, including:
- Prepare all trust documentation required to onboard a trust including the Declaration of Trust, Trustee Services Agreement, Self-Certification forms, W–8 forms;
- Create and implement Foundation Companies, in relation to DAOs and digital asset structures;
- Maintain, review, and amend trusts and other fiduciary structures as needed;
- Manage client and service provider issues, relating to fiduciary structures;
- With Onboarding, oversee the onboarding by the AML team of new trust clients, assisting them to secure any further documentation to complete the AML’s review and onboarding process;
- With Compliance, ensure all regulatory filings for the regulated unit trusts and PTCs;
- With Finance, manage the annual billing process to existing clients, as well as new client invoicing;
- Coordinate and prepare packs for semi-annual meetings of regulated Unit Trusts and PTCs;
- Ensure that the trust working templates are of the highest standard and are regularly reviewed by counsel to ensure regulatory compliance;
- Maintain Quantios Core database with communications and documentation for each structure;
- Review and amend the trust policies and procedures as necessary;
- Ensure periodic client reviews of the trust are actively conducted and signed off;
- Assist with providing monthly KPIs in relation to fiduciary business;
- Assist with projects relating to rollout of new systems or upgrades;
- Assist with ad hoc projects to support FundBank’s growth and development;
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes that impact FundBank.
Business Management
You will assist in developing new business relationships, including:
- Provide ideas to help generate new business;
- Manage relationships with various businesses, clients, and partners;
- Develop and promote relationships with local service providers to enhance exposure;
- Attend relevant local fiduciary events to increase knowledge base and network;
- Present new opportunities to the New Business Forum (“NBF”);
Product Development
You will assist in developing new products, services, and business sectors, including:
- Develop new products and services to meet customer needs;
- Coordinate with Compliance on new products to receive necessary approvals;
- Identify opportunities and create solutions to improve effectiveness of the unit’s services;
- Focus on institutional business and digital asset space.
REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree or other relevant academic qualifications, and;
- STEP qualified, and/or equivalent professional designation (LLB, CFA, CPA, CFP, CAIA).
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Background in global financial services along with a detailed knowledge of the Cayman Islands Regulatory framework;
- Minimum of 5 years’ fiduciary work, with a deep working knowledge of investment funds and corporate trust structures, as well as documentation and regulatory requirements;
- Strong understanding of various structures used by international funds, unit trusts, etc.;
- Technical skills and practical experience working with traditional investments, such as marketable securities, real property, alternative investments, is required;
- Knowledge and experience in the digital asset space is highly desired;
- Expertise and practical experience in STAR and Charitable Trusts, Special Purpose Vehicles, Unit Trusts, Foundation Companies;
- Knowledge of CRS and FATCA reporting requirements;
- Outstanding time management, organizational skills, oral/written communication skills, critical thinking and attention to detail is required;
- Client facing background with outstanding presentation skills backed up by sound technical, compliance, and regulatory knowledge;
- Excellent networking skills, be highly motivated, and adept at building relationships;
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment including reporting and providing support to various members of the team;
- Strong Microsoft 365 and Office Skills are required;
- Knowledge of MS SharePoint and Dynamics 365 a plus;
- Client management software experience is required.
- Experience working with Quantios Core (fka TrustQuay) Trust Database tools is a plus.
