Job Title: Strategic Partners Finance – Investment Operations, Vice President
Job Description:
Blackstone Strategic Partners is seeking a Vice President to join its Investment Operations team within its Finance department as a finance and operations team lead. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, with a focus on supporting and fostering collaboration with the Investment, Institutional Client Solutions, Global Fund Finance, Treasury, Tax, Legal & Compliance, and Technology teams.
Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Serve as a finance and operations team lead responsible for managing daily activities, proactively addressing and resolving issues, and ensuring smooth execution of all operational workflows in connection with a subset of Strategic Partners’ funds.
- Coordinate across internal teams and external stakeholders to drive timely, seamless execution of the investment closing, operations, and reporting processes, and ensuring alignment and efficiency across all touchpoints.
- Collaborate with the Investment team and external stakeholders to collect, validate, onboard, and maintain accurate investment reference and transactional data, ensuring data integrity and operational excellence.
- Analyze exposure and key performance drivers of look-through portfolio companies to inform strategic decision-making.
- Manage the preparation and review of SEC filings and tax compliance, and other recurring regulatory submissions.
- Manage, prepare, and review periodic reporting and other deliverables to Blackstone and Strategic Partners management.
- Coordinate and oversee relationships with key vendors (e.g., administrators, transfer agents, valuation agents, auditors) to ensure high service quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Cash and custody account management, ensuring proper controls, reconciliations, and transaction execution.
- Identify and monitor operational, regulatory, and reputational risks within the portfolio.
- Lead strategic projects and respond to ad hoc requests from senior-level leadership.
- Ensure ongoing operational processes are working efficiently and effectively pursuant to standard operating procedures.
- Manage and mentor junior-level staff and foster a high-performance, inclusive work environment.
Qualifications:

The successful candidate must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a similar discipline (CPA is a plus).
- 8+ years of relevant work experience in private equity fund accounting or operations roles.
- Deep understanding of the private equity secondaries market, investment structures, and performance drivers.
- Creative and articulate; effectively understands and conveys complex concepts.
- Demonstrable effective writing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
- Results oriented, deadline driven, and resourceful; thrives in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with markets, securities, investment strategies. and the relevant regulatory framework.

Expected annual base salary range:
$165,000 - $250,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s sole discretion.
