If you are looking for a well-rounded tax role with the opportunity to learn and grow, this position offers exposure to U.S. international tax reporting, ASC 740 tax provision, federal and state compliance, and transfer pricing. The Senior Tax Accountant is responsible for preparing and reviewing U.S. foreign information returns and ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations. This role also supports quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provision calculations, federal and state income tax compliance, transfer pricing initiatives, and special projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review U.S. foreign information returns, including:
- Form 5471, Form 5472, Form 8858, and related filings.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. international tax reporting requirements under IRC Sections 6038, 6046, and related regulations.
- Participate in quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provision calculations, including data gathering and analysis for international entities.
- Support tax compliance for federal and state income tax returns.
- Assist with calculations related to Subpart F income, GILTI, and foreign tax credits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Treasury) to ensure proper documentation and reporting.
- Support transfer pricing documentation and related compliance requirements.
- Participate in special projects, including process improvements, acquisition integrations, and global tax initiatives.
- Monitor changes in U.S. international tax laws and assess their impact on reporting obligations.
- Respond to IRS inquiries and support audits related to foreign information returns.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of U.S. international tax experience, with a focus on foreign information reporting.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. international tax rules and regulations.
- Proficiency in tax compliance software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with global tax structures and transfer pricing concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Desire to learn and grow in a dynamic, global company.
The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position based on a good faith assessment of the role and market data at the time of posting. Consistent with applicable law, each candidate’s compensation offer may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, your geographic region, skills, qualifications, and experience along with the requirements of the position. This position may be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or overtime if applicable. Benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), a retirement savings plan, paid time off, and other employee benefits. Specific details will be provided during the interview process.
