Job Title: Managing Director, Transformation Lead
About the Role:
We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented Managing Director, Transformation Lead, to drive strategic transformation initiatives across Blackstone Credit & Insurance (BXCI). This role will focus on delivery across a program of work divided into 7 workstreams across all teams in Credit & Insurance (investment, portfolio management, operations, finance, technology). The objective of the portfolio of initiatives is to streamline processes, foster innovation, and leverage automation to scale our processes in support of a fast-growing business. The successful candidate will collaborate with functional leads across BXCI, Finance, and Blackstone Technology & Innovations (BXTI) teams to deliver high-priority initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of BXCI operations, with an emphasis on creating a workplace culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Transformation Initiatives:
- Drive transformation opportunities for BXCI by working closely with functional leads and BXTI teams both locally and globally to deliver prioritized initiatives.
Business Process Optimization:
- Redesign and re-engineer business processes across teams to streamline end-to-end workflows, eliminate duplication, and improve overall efficiency.
Automation Adoption:
- Explore, adopt, and promote the use of automation tools, including low-code solutions, workflows, Sigma, AI and other technologies, to enhance productivity and scalability.
Foster a Workplace Culture of Innovation:
- Champion a workplace culture of innovation and transformation by organizing initiatives such as team-based competitions, where employees collaborate to solve business challenges and showcase their solutions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in leading large-scale transformation initiatives, with a focus on business process re-engineering and operational excellence.
- Strong expertise in automation tools and technologies, including low-code solutions, workflow management platforms (e.g., Appian), and data visualization tools (e.g., Sigma).
- Demonstrated skills establishing and implementing KPI/KRI frameworks to monitor performance and manage risks effectively.
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills; collaborates effectively across global teams and drive alignment.
- A track record of fostering a team culture of innovation and continuous improvement within an organization.
- Experience in managing transitions and integrations, particularly in a multi-location setup.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Expected annual base salary range:
$275,000 - $300,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s sole discretion.
