Position Overview:
As a member of the Private Wealth Centralized Business Services group, the Analyst/Associate will provide onboarding and business support to Neuberger Berman Private Wealth Teams. The Analyst/Associate will partner with Compliance, Supervision, Business Control and Operations as a point of service contact to ensure highly efficient and rewarding client experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinate with Neuberger Berman’s Private Wealth Teams to provide administrative and holistic support services to new and existing clients
Review and process requests for fund disbursements, gifting securities, ACATs and DTC
transfers
Process account maintenance requests including: KYC updates (name changes, personal
data updates, address changes, investment objective updates, etc.), control and interested
party updates, and account updates such as margin, check writing, options, etc.
Establish new accounts for natural person and entity clients. Duties include: document
preparation, entity documentation review, KYC data gathering and review, performing quality control check before submission for approval, documentation, account funding and information follow up
Assist Teams with the NB Investment Advisory framework, mastering all aspects of account opening, generating necessary documentation, and advisory program monitoring and maintenance
Work closely with business partners to determine outcomes and requirements on a case by case basis, the candidate will be responsible for mastery of the program rules as well as point in time consultation with PW teams to assist their clients
Candidates are comfortable with varied workflow lifecycles and can pivot between many different cases at once in various stages of completion to maintain efficient operation within program compliance
Collaborate with cross functional teams in setting up Investment Policy Statements and
maintenance related to any changes in client investment planning
Address internal/external client service inquiries/requests from PW Teams and
resolve issues in a timely manner and escalate complex issues as necessary
Assist with the Employee Investment Solutions platform with account openings,
maintenance and trading
Identify and flag suspicious activity to mitigate risk and prevent fraudulent account behavior
and potential fraud exposure
Alternative and Private Equity subscription document fulfillment
Ad hoc projects as assigned by management
Experience & Skills Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree with relevant financial services industry experience
SIE, Series 7 and 66 licenses preferred or ability to obtain
Proficient PC skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Professional presence with strong client service skills
Well organized with excellent attention to detail
Ability to prioritize workload based on evolving needs and circumstances
Strong multitasking skills

Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $60,000-$70,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package.
