Investment teams are organized into an Equity Strategies group and a Multi Asset Strategies group. The Director, Sales & Distribution is responsible for prospecting, building relationships and closing new business with institutional investors. This sales executive will find creative ways to solve clients unique and evolving investment needs through delivering PanAgora’s thought leadership and diverse suite of global investment solutions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Create and manage an organized, systematic and effective business development process that is fully integrated across the firm
- Prospecting, building relationships and closing new business with institutional investors across designated platforms, territory and/or region(s).
- Maintain on-going client discussions with seamless and consistent follow up
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience successfully representing quantitative strategies or similarly complex investment products to sophisticated institutional investors
- A commercial track-record; proven ability to initiate, drive and win business through institutional plan sponsors
- Well-trained in sales techniques and best practices related to client management
- Strong investment acumen; ability to drive a technical sale and meet high expectations of sophisticated investors
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work in fluid, hands-on environments
- Actively contribute to a culture that values collaboration, partnership and putting client and firm interests ahead of one’s own personal agenda
- Presents and communicates with maturity, credibility and clarity. Superior written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Undergraduate degree required. MBA, CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) is a strong plus.
- FINRA licenses required.
Salary Range: 200,000 – 300,000
