The Impact You Will Have In This Role
As the Principal IT Governance & Process Improvement Specialist, you will lead the strategy, development, and evolution of DTCC’s IT Balanced Scorecard, Technology Governance dashboards, and monthly IT Governance metrics.
You will shape how DTCC measures technology performance, compliance, operational stability, and organizational health.
A major part of your impact will be driving innovation through predictive analytics and advanced data models to anticipate trends, identify risks, and enhance proactive decision‑making for senior technology leadership.
In this highly visible role, you will serve as the Product Owner for metrics dashboards and analytics products—defining long‑term vision, partnering across IT, and ensuring our tools meet the needs of a modern, metrics‑driven technology organization.
Your Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end development, enhancement, and governance of the IT Balanced Scorecard, Technology Governance dashboards, and monthly IT Governance metrics.
- Serve as the Product Owner for these dashboards, establishing the roadmap, vision, backlog, and iterative delivery plans.
- Partner with business leaders, technology owners, and governance collaborators to gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements.
- Manage work you're doing through Agile methodologies, ensuring iterative and high‑quality releases.
- Remove roadblocks and support Business Systems Analysts, developers, and testers, ensuring they fully understand requirements and deliver to plan.
- Explore, define, and implement predictive analytics use cases, working closely with data and analytics teams to advance IT governance insights.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and transparency of all governance metrics.
- Maintain continuous communication with end users regarding delivery timelines, enhancements, and roadmap changes.
- Present dashboards, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and technology working groups.
- Create and deliver training, documentation, and communication materials to support adoption and understanding.
- Promote guidelines for metrics governance, data quality, and analytics-driven decision-making across IT.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

- IT Business Management – understanding of IT processes, financials, service delivery, and governance frameworks.

- Data & Analytics expertise – bringing to bear data to drive insights and story-driven decisions.
- Power BI, Snowflake, SQL – practical experience building dashboards, models, or complex queries.
- Jira, SDP, Agile – strong delivery management and Agile execution skills.
- Communication & Presentation Skills – ability to synthesize complex information and present clearly to executives.
- Problem-Solving – structured critical thinking and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Thought Leadership – ability to influence organizational direction and champion continuous improvement.
The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
