Job Description
Provides strategic leadership and oversight for operations and administrative functions within Raymond James Insurance Solutions. Responsible for driving efficiency, modernization, and compliance across insurance and annuity platforms while ensuring alignment with firm-wide objectives.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Establish and oversee operational strategies and frameworks for insurance and annuity businesses.
- Lead modernization initiatives and process improvements to enhance scalability and client experience as the firm continues to deepen capabilities and expand platforms for advisors.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Manage large teams across service, operations, licensing, commissions, and risk functions while providing guidance and direction to less experienced leaders.
- Partner with and build trusted relationships with senior leadership, including executive management of Private Client Group and Global Wealth Solutions on strategic planning, budgeting, and technology integration.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with key insurance carrier partners, represent the firm in industry forums and collaborate on firm-wide initiatives.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge Of
- Insurance and annuity operations, including service, licensing, and commissions.
- Regulatory frameworks and compliance standards (FINRA, SEC, state-level).
- Risk governance and operational controls.
- Technology modernization and cybersecurity best practices.
- Broker-dealer supervisory structures and insurance product platforms.

Education/Previous Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university and a minimum of ten (10) years experience in the financial services industry.
- OR ~
- Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training.
Licenses/Certifications
- Series 7, 26 and Life & Health Licenses Required
