JOB DESCRIPTION
Jefferies is seeking a
Business Associate to support the Power, Utilities & Clean Energy Equity Research franchise. This role focuses on
corporate access, event coordination, and franchise operations, partnering closely with the corporate access origination and operations team lead.
The associate will manage corporate access activities—including management meetings, non‑deal roadshows, expert calls, thematic events, and conference participation—handling scheduling, logistics, and communication. The role also includes managing the team calendar, preparing client-facing materials, and supporting strategic initiatives that enhance the franchise’s visibility and impact.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute corporate access activities: NDRs, management meetings, expert calls, webinars, conferences, and site visits
- Manage all logistics, scheduling, materials, compliance, and communication for events.
- Maintain a coordinated team calendar across clients, corporates, and internal activities
- Prepare marketing materials, briefing documents, and event summaries
- Partner with Corporate Access, Sales, and Banking to enhance client engagement
Required Background
- Strong academic background; finance, business, economics, engineering, environmental studies, or marketing preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and project‑management skills
- Proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable in fast‑paced environments
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance
- Able to occasionally work outside of normal business hours to ensure logistics for managed events are supported well.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in equity research, corporate access, investor relations or event coordination
Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $100,000 - $120,000.

The salary offered will take into consideration an individual’s experience level and qualifications.
