Join Barclays as a Vice President - Global Markets Client Onboarding. At Barclays, our vision is clear – to redefine the future of banking and help craft innovative solutions. The focus of this role is to be a catalyst in driving improvements within our end-to-end Onboarding process through cycle time reductions, increasing our scale of coverage and cross-selling, and improving client satisfaction, particularly for our top tier clients. In this role, you will act as a critical point of contact for clients and act as their advocate through the Barclays infrastructure by partnering with Sales, KYC, Credit Risk, Legal, Operations and other internal teams towards getting clients “ready to trade”. The focus of the role is both servicing our existing clients but also partnering with Sales and other business areas in driving opportunities for revenue growth. In addition, you will also drive process improvements towards achieving our goals and partnering with Technology to enhance automation, workflow, and transparency within the E2E process as part of our robust tech agenda over the coming years.
To be successful as a Vice President - Global Markets Client Onboarding, you should have:
- Knowledge of end-to-end onboarding processes for Markets client across a variety of journeys
- Experience in facilitating client Onboarding and improving client satisfaction
- Understanding of the Markets trading business and financial products
- Ability to obtain and assess data across multiple internal and external sources and leveraging that understand trends and drive meaningful change
- Ample understanding of operational risk, controls, and governance frameworks

Minimum Salary: $150,000
Maximum Salary: $225,000

Purpose of the role
Liquid Finance Platform covers a variety of roles and is central to the delivery of best-in-class products and services, and for the provision of strategic client and risk solutions across the full spectrum of the Prime Financing businesses.
Accountabilities
- Working with clients to optimise the Liquid Financing relationship
- Provide best-in-class service and escalation oversight
- Primary contact for Liquid Financing clients in areas such as trading, risk, billing and reporting
- Provide expertise on industry and regulatory initiatives
- Subject matter expert for our clients, with a deep understanding of each client’s business mix, operational requirements and product sensitivities
