General Summary and Purpose:
Victory Capital Management is seeking a full-time Communications Specialist with social media experience to be part of the marketing team to drive and execute creative content for social media and internal communications. This role will help channel the voice of Victory Capital across our social media platforms that include B2B and B2C audiences.
You will report to the Director of Communications and Partnerships.
You Will:
- Collaborate in content creation, planning and execution for Victory Capital's social channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter (X) and YouTube)
- Work closely with the Director of Communications and Partnerships to understand content strategy and goals, meet content calendar deadlines, monitor and engage in social conversations, submit content for compliance review and properly deploy content to various distribution channels
- Schedule and deploy posts across all Victory Capital social channels using social scheduling platforms or directly in platforms
- Develop and write stories for internal communications for the company's intranet site
- Work on quick-turnaround communications that help Victory Capital stay relevant in community and social conversations
- Write compelling content and stories for the company’s intranet site
- Manage company Intranet site
- Assist as needed with community partnerships and PR events
- Coordinate marketing department activities and support employee engagement activities as needed
- Coordinate and plan company events, meetings, conferences, etc.
- Serve as a liaison between employees and our internal company store
You Have:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 2 to 4 years of communications and social media experience
- Strong copywriting skills
- Sound understanding of social media content processes and publication protocols
- Passion for digital communications and marketing engagement, social media strategies and social media campaigns
- Understanding of the needs of our customers to meet their goals
- Strong project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, energetic, adaptable, flexible and reliable
- Knowledge of online marketing for regulated industries
- Hootsuite management experience a plus
- Understanding of paid social media
- Assist with other marketing projects as needed

Target Compensation:
The target base salary range for this position is $53,550 - $63,000. Salaries are determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicants’ skills and prior relevant experience, degrees and certifications.
Victory Capital Management operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and total compensation may vary based on role, location, department and individual performance.
Victory Capital Management’s total compensation package includes the opportunity for annual compensation bonuses and/or commissions, as well as a generous benefits package.
