The Strategic Accounts Lead is mainly responsible for supporting our U.S. Strategic Account sales and client service efforts across all our team’s constituents: 1) Internally with the Rockefeller Global Family Office Private Advisor Teams and 2) Externally with the primary focus on Large Intermediaries and Asset Owners (i.e: Global Private Banks, Sub-Advised Sponsors, Broker Dealers, & Independent RIAs). The Strategic Accounts Lead will be expected to support the distribution and client service efforts across all of RAM’s investment strategies, including alternatives, equities and fixed income.
Responsibilities - Serve as lead relationship manager for client relationships across specified channels, with a specific focus to the Rockefeller Global Family Office Private Advisor Teams
- Participate in live client & prospective client meetings by discussing investment portfolios or established RAM strategies to provide information and/or data on a real time basis
- Build prospective and current client investment portfolio proposals including relevant RAM strategies
- Routinely research and identify potential prospects via online databases and other capital introduction resources
- Prepare prospect or client briefs in advance of meetings. Post meeting, assist with follow up items and document meeting activities
- Regularly interface with investment team members, performance/portfolio analytics and trading colleagues to help organize meetings, coordinate presentation material/content and respond to inquiries from external constituents
- Source, coordinate and help complete:
- Request for Proposals (RFP)
- Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQ)
- Monthly and Quarterly updates/marketing materials
- Ad hoc portfolio performance data and commentary requests
- Support team with management reporting, including sales pipeline and sales statistics
- Support business development initiatives for RAM’s platform of strategies whether it be the launch of new strategies or enhancing current strategies
- Conduct competitive analysis on investment products, strategies and trends in the marketplace
- Develop familiarity with Rockefeller Asset Management history, organizational structure and related subjects, including ability to articulate our investment process, portfolio structures and characteristics
Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3-4 years of asset management, wealth management or relevant business development experience
- Experience in fundraising with a demonstrated track record of increasing run rate revenue
- Strong knowledge of fixed income markets and investment strategies
- FINRA series 7 & 63 licenses are required for this position. Candidates are not required to have series 7 & 63 licenses, but must obtain within 90 days of hire
- Willingness to pursue a CFA designation or MBA is desirable

Compensation Range The anticipated base salary range for this role is $105,000 to $115,000. Base salary for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. In addition, this role may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
