Position Rockefeller Asset Management, with approximately $14 billion in assets under management and a division within Rockefeller Capital Management—provides equity, fixed income, and alternative asset investments to institutions and other institutionally minded investors.
As an Associate / Senior Associate on our Private Equity team you will collaborate closely with senior team members, to source, diligence, and manage direct private equity investments. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our portfolio.
Responsibilities In this role, you will:
1. Source and Evaluate Opportunities:
o Lead sourcing efforts for private equity investments and industry operators, with a focus on technology, tech-enabled services, industrial tech, and consumer sectors.
o Conduct value-add diligence to build conviction to make investments and partner with industry operators.
2. Structuring and Execution:
o Demonstrate proficiency in modeling and structuring complex equity investments.
o Ensure successful execution of investment transactions.
3. Portfolio Management and Value Creation:
o Develop and drive value creation initiatives.
4. Collaboration and Cultural Adherence:
o Collaborate closely with leaders within Rockefeller Asset Management.
o Uphold and promote our firm’s culture and values around integrity, community care and pursuing excellence.
QualificationsWe’re seeking candidates with:
1. Experience: Minimum of 4 years of relevant post-undergraduate experience in private equity investing and investment banking within technology, tech-enabled services, and consumer sectors.
2. Track Record: Demonstrated ability to analyze and close equity investments, with investment sizes in the $50 to $300 million equity ranges.
3. Financial Acumen: Strong analytical skills, high intellectual curiosity, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Compensation Range The anticipated base salary range for this role is $125,000 to $150,000. Base salary for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. In addition, this role may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
