We are seeking a highly motivated SMA Trading Operations Analyst to provide support for our $20 billion and growing amount of SMA assets under management. The ideal candidate possesses previous SMA trading operations experience, although we will consider motivated candidates with related experience. Success in the role depends upon being able to work well under pressure in a busy, dynamic environment.
We’ll Trust You To
- Process trades in a timely and accurate manner to ensure timely settlements of trades.
- Research and resolve differences on reconciliation reports.
- Resolve failed trades.
- Liaise with counterparties and sponsors regarding unmatched trade instructions to minimize operational risks.
- Escalate issues in a timely manner.
- Regularly interact with portfolio managers and investment personnel to align on trade and account details.
- Work as part of a team supporting whichever asset class needs attention and focus.
You'll Need To Have
- Ability to multitask and work in a team environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft products.
- Ability to work independently and perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work in the office most of the time.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and follow-up skills.
- A high attention to detail.
- Preferable to have an understanding of the trading lifecycle including confirmation, affirmation and settlement.
- Preferable to have experience with APL system and Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs).
- 0 to 5 years of experience with SMA trading operations meaning that it is preferable to have direct SMA experience but related responsibilities will be considered too.

Compensation Information: Annual base salary for this role is $80,000 - $95,000. Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.
Discretionary Bonus: Role may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are determined by several factors including, but not limited to, firm, team, and individual performance.
