Purpose Of Position
Responsible for researching, sourcing, analysing and executing co-investment opportunities. In addition, responsible for monitoring Pantheon’s co-investment investment portfolio. Will contribute to fundraising and maintain client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to global teams and support the execution of investment opportunities across Pantheon’s platform as appropriate
- Over time manage and/or mentor analysts, associates or administrators, as appropriate.
- Responsibility for all aspects of co-investments, from origination and evaluation of transactions through to execution
- Working with primary investment team to originate co-investment opportunities
- Undertaking and leading transaction due diligence and analysis; including valuation modelling
- Preparation and presentation of investment proposals to Pantheon’s Co-investment Committee
- Coordination of execution/closing, including review and negotiation of legal documentation (with the support of Pantheon’s Investment Structuring Team)
- Monitor existing investment portfolio
- Participate in presentations to prospects and client update meetings
- Contribute to marketing and client service meetings as appropriate to support co-investment fundraising.
- Assist the client service and marketing teams by providing information as requested
- Identify and attend industry and networking events, as appropriate
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and Pantheon policy (including reporting compliance risks and maintaining appropriate standards of conduct
Knowledge & Experience Required
- Prior experience of modelling either M&A or Private Equity transactions is a pre-requisite.
- Prior experience in direct investment and co-investment is desirable.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, discretion and judgement;
- Strong problem solving, influencing and relationship-building skills;
- Ability to work to tight deadlines/under pressure with minimum supervision;
- Degree or equivalent highly desirable in a numerate discipline (finance, commerce or business-related, math, physics or engineering) and CFA would be advantageous.
This role is paying in the region of $150,000 - $160,000 per annum. Alongside Pantheon's wider employment benefits.
